Wilde and L'Engle changed my world
A lot of these are favorites of mine as well, although I've never read 1984 or actually finished a book by Rand.
Have you read "A Swiftly Tilting Planet"? Next to Walking on Water, it's my fave L'Engle. Might even beat out a Wrinkle in Time.
